My title is the Global story.. being a Mom -Black British with Nigerian Origin…. I am constantly rethinking the black presence within British History till today. Its not about status quo or position it is ‘embedded institutional racism. I stare out of my window I feel the extremely ‘cold’ wind blowing across my face seeking my own attention. Thus.. its now time to go back home to my Motherland.. at the very leasr my eyes feel light thinking about eating Spicy Gbegiri, Ewedu, and Ẹba with stock fish and peri-winkles from my late Grand mama, using her index finger to pick roll and scoop -caring about none, being real, feeling authentic and being authentic with no boundaries is ‘ME’. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh outside my comfort zone, I do love America, I love how they challenge the norm and how they stand united reading ‘Medium’ should also help me better connect. With Love ….
